How do I know you're a good fit for my pet?
We believe in the importance of building trust and ensuring compatibility between our sitters and your beloved pets. That's why we require a free short Meet and Greet at your home prior to booking any sitting job.
During this time, you'll have the opportunity to:
-
Introduce Yourself and Your Pet(s) to your Sitter: We want to ensure that your furry friend feels comfortable and at ease with their sitter.
-
Provide In-Person Instructions: Share any specific care instructions and give our sitter a tour of your home to familiarize them with your pet's routine and any household needs, as well as touring the home they'll be staying in.
-
Ask Questions: Have any questions or concerns? This is the perfect time to address them and ensure that everyone is on the same page.

While the Meet and Greet is an important step in the process, it does not guarantee a pet-sitting job until it has been confirmed by both you and the sitter. We want to make sure that both you and your pet(s), and the sitter, feel completely comfortable before moving forward.

Meet and Greets are only scheduled once specific sitting dates are requested.
Will you sleep and eat in my house?
We treat every home as if it's our own, ensuring that you return to a space that's as clean and cozy as you left it.
Our sitters are prepared and willing to stay overnight to provide round-the-clock care for your pets. However, we understand that some clients prefer not to have a sitter stay overnight. Rest assured, both options are perfectly fine. If the sitter is staying overnight, a bed or pullout couch must be provided. If the sitter is staying overnight, they will wash and return any towels or sheets they have used before departing whenever possible. Alternatively, you can let the sitter know if you prefer them to bring their own linens and towels.
You are not expected to provide food or drinks for the sitter, though it's always appreciated. Our sitters will bring their own food for their stay. If you prefer, you can let the sitter know if you'd rather they not use your kitchen to cook. Any dishware or utensils used will be cleaned and returned before the sitter departs.
Before departing, our sitters will ensure that all trash that they have accumulated during their stay is removed from inside the home, leaving your space just as you left it.

Aren't you also on Rover? Can I book there?
Did you find us through Rover? No problem! We're also available on the Rover platform for your convenience.
You can absolutely book our services through Rover if you prefer. However, please note that our fees on Rover are slightly higher due to the platform's additional fees. Booking directly through us can save you a little money by avoiding those extra fees charged by Rover. If you found us through Rover, please note that we are required to complete the first booking through the Rover platform. After the initial booking through Rover, any following bookings can be scheduled privately if you prefer. This allows for more flexibility and potentially lower fees. Whether you choose to book through Rover or privately, rest assured that your pet will receive the same high-quality care and attention, and be covered under both our license and insurance.
What can I expect for my pet during the sitter's stay?
Your pet will have a friendly companion staying at your house for the majority of the time. Occasionally, the sitter may need to step out for brief periods, but never for more than 4 hours at a time unless we've discussed it with you. During their stay, your pet will enjoy plenty of companionship, playtime, belly rubs, and adherence to their regular feeding and sleep schedule. If you'd like, your sitter can also send you photos of your pet upon request, as little or as many as you want!
Rest assured, your furry friend will be in good hands and receive all the love and attention they deserve while you're away!
What do you need from me?
If you've had your successful Meet and Greet and are ready to book the sitter, here's what we'll need from you:
-
Paperwork: Fill out some basic paperwork to provide us with information about your pet and your home.
-
Sleeping Arrangements: Provide a bed for the sitter to sleep on if you request they stay overnight.
-
Bathroom Access: Ensure access to a shower during the sitter's stay if you request they stay overnight.
-
Laundry Facilities: If you request the sitter to wash linens at the end of their stay, provide access to a washer and dryer in the home, along with laundry soap. Please note any special preferences for laundry care, or let the sitter know in advance that you do not wish for them to wash the linens they've used.
-
Kitchen Access: Allow access to the kitchen for the sitter's own food and beverages. Let the sitter know if you prefer they not use your oven to cook.
-
Linens and Towels: Specify if you'll provide linens and towels, or if the sitter should bring their own.
-
Vet Notification: Notify your regular vet of the dates your pet will be with a pet-sitter and have a credit card on file with your vet for emergencies.
-
WiFi Access: Provide the WiFi access code to the sitter for use during their stay.
-
Key or Access Code: Supply a key or access code to enter your home during the sitter's stay.
We do not hold or copy house keys or codes at the end of a stay. Please let your sitter know where to leave your key when they leave.
With these simple requirements met, we'll ensure your pet receives the best care possible while you're away!
Please get in touch with any questions, no matter how big or small. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have!
